Music Entrepreneurship Program, School of Music, would like to welcome every candidate who is highly interested in music as a business career, and seriously wants to be successful in the world of music industry, to have an interview with the programme to demonstrate your passion and music ability. The interview aims to see “what you can do, not what you can’t.”

YOU WILL BE BOOKED FOR AN INTERVIEW SESION AFTER YOU HAVE SUBMITTED YOUR APPLICATION.

What you will be asked to do on the interview date :

1. To take a paper exam on music theory (Scales, Keys, Chords, Meters) and music business related questions on the same day of your performing interview. Any result will NOT affect on the admission process, this is only a placement test.
2. If you can demonstrate your music ability, you can perform two songs or pieces of your own choices which has to be different in term of style and genre.
3. Have a personal interview with the department team so we can get to know each other! 🙂

Remarks : Paper exam is not the ultimate judgment to decline you from the admission if you fail, but you may be required to take our intensive music theory class before your first academic semester begins.
