Asst. Prof. Dr. Pannawit Sanitnarathorn

Pannawit Sanitnarathorn’ (ปัณณวิช สนิทนราทร) is the Dean, ABAC School of Music, and a lecturer who teaches in the field of music business such as music marketing, artist management, music industry’s careers, genre studies, popular music, indie artists, online marketing, social networking and etc.

Pannawit graduated a Ph.D. (Specialised in Music Business) from KMITL, received two Master Degrees from the University of Liverpool, Institute of Popular Music in ‘Music Industry Studies’ and Communication Arts and Innovation from NIDA, a Bachelor Degree in Music and Sound from London College of Music, and a Master Certificate in ‘Music Business’ from Berklee, College of Music, US including other two certificates in ‘Artist Management’ and ‘Music Marketing’ from the same institute. He is also interested in music technology and production which he pursued a ‘Diploma in Audio Engineering’ from SAE Institute.

Not only music business area is in his focus, he enthuses in classical music, especially ‘music in 18th century’ or in other word, ‘music in the classical period’. His Master’s thesis topic also focused on ‘classical music management’ which he tried to combine classical music and business together to bring out the interest to the wider public audience in the pop market. Pannawit also received a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) accredited by The University of Cambridge.

He has also experienced in Thailand’s music industry as a marketing supervisor at GMM Grammy’s subsidiary labels and cooperated as an online promotion team at Muzik Move. He is also a violist performing with his ensemble occasionally with styles ranging from classical to pop.
